Due to some unforeseen circumstances I was unable to work out yesterday until about 8:00 pm. My husband and I were out and about doing a really tedious errand and we were unable to come home until late. That didn't stop my body from reacting to my lack of exercise.
About 12:30 or so my head was pounding with a really bad headache. I thought I was hungry so I ate something but it didn't go away. I took a quick nap and that did nothing. I thought maybe a little caffeine would help so I had some iced tea. Which suppressed it for a while but after I was finished drinking the headache came back. So on the way home my husband said, "Maybe you should do some yoga when we get home" So at about 8:15 or so we came home and I rolled out my yoga mat and did some poses that I knew. Within two minutes my headache slowly subsided and after 25 minutes of some basic poses my headache was gone.
It amazes me that my body would act so negatively to my lack of exercise. I've never really have had that happen before.
So I still worked out for 20 days straight. Yesterday wasn't as long as usual but it still counts. I can feel my body getting stronger My hamstrings are getting stretched and I can feel my arms starting to build up mass so I can hold arm poses longer. Which is something that I know I keep saying but I can feel my body improving everyday. Almost one month of exercise! I know I can make it! Especially since my body feels terrible if I don't.
-Signing off-
